Do you provide or rent out camera and/or lighting equipment?
No, we do not provide any camera or lighting equipment.

How can I view your available dates and times?
Go to our Booking Page. Select the amount of hours you would like and then you’ll be able to see our availability. If a date/time is not listed, the studio is not available.

Do you allow pets in the studio?
Yes!

Can you accommodate last-minute rentals?
We will do our best! Please send us an email to hello@zurie.co and we will respond as soon as possible.

Can I host an event at Zurie, such as a baby shower, recital, rehearsal dinner, or small gathering?
Yes! Our space holds up to 30 people comfortably and is perfect for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Please email hello@zurie.co for all event requests.

Can I arrive early to set up for my rental?
All rentals will begin promptly at the rented time. You and your guests/clients may enter the building 5 minutes before your rental begins.

Can I extend my rental time during my session?
If there is availability, you may certainly extend the rental time of your session. Text the On-Call Host to check availability. All of the on-call host info is listed on a calendar and can be found near the studio’s entryway.

I’m shooting a newborn session—do you have heat in the studio?
Yes! The space can be heated to your liking.

Will there be a Zurie host at my rented session?
Beginning Feb 1st, all rentals will be self check-in. You’ll be able to access the space through our self check-in system. However, if you have any questions or need any help, feel free to text the On-Call Host. We have a calendar in the space that lists the On-Call Host for that day.

Can I use your seamless paper backdrops? What colors do you have?
Yes! Our seamless backdrops are now available on a wall mount. Four colors are available: white, bone, mocha.

Are your discounts available to last-minute bookings?
We define a last-minute booking as a booking made less than 24 hours in advance. Last-minute bookings are not eligible for discounts.

What happens if I’m sick or my clients are sick and we can’t make it to our rental? Can we reschedule or cancel our booking?
All cancellations made less than 24 hours from your rented time do not qualify for a refund. Rentals cancelled more than 24 hours in advance will receive an 80% refund. In most cases, our sessions are booked weeks in advance—the reason why we do not allow cancellations less than 24 hours out, is because we have held that time for you and most likely will not be able to fill the spot. If you would like to find someone to take your spot, you could certainly try to do that! We do not reschedule any bookings. If you need to change the date of your booking, you must email hello@zurie.co to cancel your booking, and then you can go here to book your new session.

What happens if the weather is bad? Can I cancel and get a refund?

In most cases (snow emergencies), we allow complimentary reschedules due to weather conditions. However, our cancellation policy remains the same for complete cancellations without rescheduling (80% refund). If you plan to reschedule, you must do so no later than 3 hours prior to your appointment time. Choosing to cancel without rescheduling, no matter the circumstances, will fall under our normal cancellation policy and you will need to rebook on your own.

Is there free parking available?
Yes! During breakfast and lunch hours, we are allotted use of 4 parking spots. However, please note that the parking lot may be quite busy during these hours. We have a lot that we share with Katalina’s in Clintonville and parking is available on either side of the dumpsters in the lot. There is also quite a bit of street parking nearby as well. After 3PM, our renters and your party have access to our full parking lot.
